About Tommy's
Originally from southwest Iowa, Tom and Michelle Doyle are proud parents of their daughters Ireland and Addelyn and love being a part of the Ames Community. Michelle gained 5 years experience at another area salon before deciding to open Tommy’s Salon in 2006. As the manager/owner/ and stylist, Michelle has been in the industry since 2000. She enjoys all that there is about the hair industry but most of all, LOVES to make others feel great about not only his/her hair but about his/her life!
Michelle not only does natural hair, but also specializes in wigs and alternative hair. She enjoys showing others how they can have great hair just by slipping on a wig or any alternative hair! Michelle hopes that you have the best possible experience at Tommy’s Salon.

Your stylist will begin with a consultation, relaxing shampoo, and scalp massage. Your hair will be cut and styled to your specifications and product will be recommended for your specific concerns.
Haircut Only (no blow dry): $25+

Spa Pedicure: $60+
Our hour long spa pedicures are done in a personal, relaxed setting to soak your stress away while your feet are groomed to perfection!
This service includes shaping, cuticle and callus work, sugar scrub, cooling mask with steam towels, and massage.
Basic Manicure: $30+
This service includes nail shaping, cuticle work, arm/hand massage, and polish change.

This 3 step deep conditioning treatment leaves the hair feeling silky and soft. This treatment includes an indulgent 7 minute scalp massage.
Olapex Treatment: $55+
This bonding treatment rebuilds the broken bonds in the hair that are caused by chemical, thermal, and mechanical damage. This service can
be used as a stand alone treatment or with chemical services to provide the ultimate breakage insurance for your hair. Includes a scalp massage to provide the most luxurious and relaxing experience.

Jennifer Schwery
Stylist
Jennifer Schwery has been with Tommy’s since 2008. Jenn and her husband, David, reside in Slater, IA with their dog, Bella. Jenn loves spending time working in her garden, playing with her nieces, and traveling. A seasoned stylist who is very passionate about the hair industry and loves giving her guests the knowledge they need to duplicate the look at home. Stop in and ask for Jenn to see her knowledge in action!

Alternative Hair
Our fully furnished wig shop is complete with wigs, toppers, products, and all the accessories
you can need for your alternative hair! All of our wigs are from Jon Renau, one of the world’s leading
international manufactures for wigs and toppers. Whether you are dealing with hair loss, cancer, or
desire some more volume or length, we have the solution for you!
All of our stylists are specially trained
in these specific wigs, as well as in the care of cancer patients. Michelle first started working with wigs
and doing wig fittings in 2011, volunteering at Mary Greeley. Her passion for working with cancer
patients especially hit home when her grandma, Beverly, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Beverly
fought and beat her cancer; so to commemorate her Michelle decided to name the wig room Bev’s
Corner.
Tommy’s Salon also partners with Strands of Strength, as well as with the William B. Bliss
Cancer at Mary Greeley. So feel free to stop into Bev’s Corner to check it all out, or call and make an
appointment. We can’t wait to help you start wearing hair!
