A: Well, that's an easy one to answer. Michelle's husband Tom has such a vital role in the business process that she felt like it was a perfect fit!
Q: What is your salon's vision?
A: The vision for Tommy's Salon is to provide Ames with the ultimate modern salon experience, but with the feeling of small town culture and hospitality. The couple love helping to make guests feel good not just about his/her hair, but about his/her life.

About the Owners of Tommy's Salon
Originally from southwest Iowa, Tom and Michelle Doyle (pictured on the left) are proud parents of their daughter Ireland and love being a part of the Ames Community. Michelle gained 5 years experience at another area salon before deciding to open Tommy's Salon.

Jennifer Schwery - Stylist
Jennifer Schwery has been with Tommy's Salon since March 2008. Jennifer is originally from Caroll, IA. Jenn enjoys spending time with her husband David and her dog Bella. Jennifer is passionate about the hair business and loves giving her guests the knowledge that they need to duplicate his/her style at home.

Gretchen Gerbracht - Stylist
Gretchen has been with Tommy's Salon since August 2010. She is originally from Ames and loves being back in the area. She was previously a stylist in Iowa City which gives her the "edge" in knowing all sorts of new and trendy styles from all parts of Iowa!

Tessa Allred - Massage Therapist / Cosmetologist
Tessa has been with Tommy's Salon since August 2010. Tessa is a sweet gal that loves giving her guests a relaxing experience while easing any pain away. She uses steam towels in her massages to help relax and calm even the most tense individual.

Jessie Kunch - Barber
Jessie Kunch is our new barber here at Tommy's. Jessie is new to the area and is our newest team member. She is originally from a small town and has that "sweet home town girl" personality that everyone loves!
